Cornerstone Information Systems, Inc. is pleased to announce that the firm was honored on April 12 by the Murray State University Center for Telecommunications System Management (CTSM) with the 2012 John Williams Entrepreneurship Award. The award is presented each year to an individual or company that has started or significantly expanded a telecommunications related operation in Western Kentucky.
“It is certainly an honor to be recognized by Murray State, my alma mater and that of several key staff members,” commented Cornerstone founder and CEO David Smith. “It is through our staff’s continued dedication and commitment to service that we were able to achieve this recognition. We also want to express our appreciation for the technology and economic leadership that Murray State has provided to the region through programs such as the CTSM.”

The award is named for John A. Williams, the founder and current Chairman of the Board for Computer Services Inc. Based in Paducah, CSI is one of the nation’s fastest growing providers of software and technology solutions for banks and other financial institutions. Mr. Williams was present to offer his personal congratulations for the award.
The award was accepted by David Smith at the TSM Awards Luncheon during the Patterns of Distinction security conference.
