Cornerstone Information Systems would like to congratulate Gene Scott for successfully completing the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Leadership program.
The program, which began in 1985, involves nine sessions, beginning with a retreat in April and ending with a graduation in November. From applications submitted, 25 to 32 individuals are chosen each year to participate in Leadership Bowling Green. During the nine sessions, the class studies the community’s strengths and challenges through lectures, discussions, tours and role-playing activities. The goal is to gain a wide knowledge about Bowling Green through an overview of a variety of community functions.
Philip Tillman, co-owner, said, “Gene took great initiative to apply for the program and invest additional personal time to gain as much from the program as possible. We were proud to assist Gene and the leadership class in their class project and appreciate their dedication to the program.”
David Smith, co-owner, said, “Cornerstone has invested in Chamber leadership programs over the years and we know what a great resource they can be for learning about and becoming more involved in the community. Gene is Cornerstone’s first graduate from the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and we believe he represented us very well.”
Gene is a Sr. Network Engineer primarily serving clients in the Bowling Green area. Gene began his career with Cornerstone in 2003. He and his wife, Cindy live in Bowling Green with their son, Grayson.
